What Google Play Games Does

Google Play Games is Google’s gaming hub for Android. It helps players discover games, launch supported titles, keep track of achievements and continue progress across devices. It suits casual players looking for quick games as well as regular players who want one place for their gaming profile and activity.

Play and Pick Up Where You Left Off

• Game discovery: Browse games across different styles, including action, puzzle and other casual categories.
• Instant Play: Some supported games can be tried without a full installation, making it easier to test a title before committing to it.
• Cloud progress: Compatible games can save progress through Play Games, helping you continue from another device when the feature is supported.
• Built-in games: Solitaire, Minesweeper, Snake, PAC-MAN, Cricket and Whirlybird are available for quick sessions, including offline play.

Profiles, Achievements and Recording

The app includes a gamer profile with a custom gamer ID, achievement tracking, experience points and levels. These features give players a record of milestones across supported games. Gameplay recording is also available for capturing and sharing selected gaming moments.
