YouTube Music

YouTube Music for streaming and discovery

YouTube Music is a music and audio app for listeners who want more than standard album releases. It brings together official songs, albums, music videos, live performances, covers and remixes, making it useful for both everyday listening and finding alternate versions of familiar tracks. The app is developed by Google LLC and suits users who already rely on YouTube or other Google services.

What you can listen to

• Search for official tracks and albums alongside live recordings, covers and remixes.
• Move between an audio track and its related music video when both are available.
• Explore personalized recommendations and mixes shaped around listening habits or activities such as workouts, focus and relaxation.
• Use lyrics and related-track options from the playing screen to follow along or continue discovering music.

Everyday use

The large catalog can help when a particular live take, cover or remix is difficult to find on conventional music services. At the same time, the range of official releases and personalized suggestions makes the app suitable for routine background listening. Support across Android-focused services, Wear OS, Google Maps, Waze and compatible smart speakers can also make it easier to keep listening in different settings.
