Chrome Dev

Chrome Dev for Android

Chrome Dev is an early-release version of Google’s Chrome browser for Android. It is aimed at people who want to test browser changes before they appear in more established Chrome channels, including developers, testers and curious users who do not mind occasional rough edges.

What it offers

The app gives users access to newer Chrome features while they are still being developed. Some changes may be unfinished or less polished than those in the regular browser. By using this channel, you can explore upcoming work and provide feedback that helps shape Chrome for Android.

Chrome Dev can be used alongside other Chrome channels on the same Android device, making it suitable for testing without replacing the version you normally use.

Who it suits

• Developers: Check how websites and web apps behave with newer browser changes.
• Testers: Try features early and report problems or unexpected behavior.
• Enthusiast users: Explore developing Chrome features before they reach wider releases.
